In Clinic Teaching

My strengths are a long experience as a small animal soft tissue surgeon, with associated interests in endoscopy and imaging, and a reputation as a practical teacher of soft tissue surgery.

I’m particularly keen to help clinics develop surgical confidence in recent graduates and those returning to work, and clinics who want to start or restart endoscopy (laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy). Although my base is in the South West UK (near Bristol), I’m able to travel outside the region, especially for post graduate teaching.

One service that has proved very helpful is to work alongside the clinic team with existing lap spay equipment using cases to learn or refresh the procedural skills and improve confidence.  I can also offer advice on selection of suitable instrumentation and capital items.

The cost for in clinic teaching is £700/day , plus travel by second class rail/local taxi, car 25p/mile and agreed overnight expenses where greater than 2 hours from my home post code.
